Vaishnava Samhita: Jeevadeva Charitam. Vol II Book 4 Chp 21 Shlokas 17 - 18

Vidyayaah Paramam Lakshyam Krishnanaamaanukeertanam

Tatyaktvaa Shaastravaadena Yashasaa Vaapi Kim Phalam

Anityasya Shareerasya Yasholaabhena Kim Phalam

Anaamaroopo Jeevastu Na Nindaa Tasya Na Stutih

The sole aim of all knowledge is to take recourse to the chanting of the Names of Lord Krishna. Ignoring that, if one enters into disputes on Shastras and tries to gather fame, what does he gain? This mortal frame does not derive any benefit from gathering fame. The self has no name or form. Then how can praise or blame affect him?

The Goal of All learning

'Bhaja Govindam! Bhaja Govindam! Bhaja Govindam moodamate!' -- 'Oh! Fool! Why do you struggle with the study of the Shãstrãs? Chant the Name of Govinda!' said Sankara.

True knowledge that is pure is represented by the Goddess Saraswathi.......THE JNAANA (KNOWLEDGE) BORN OUT OF GRACE, THE VIDWAT (LEARNING) BORN OF THIS GRACE, WEALTH RECEIVED FROM SUCH A GRACE IS EVERLASTING AND SAFE (HARMLESS).

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
