Susruta, the great authority on Hindu medicine, says that for those who have strong faith in the name of God no medicine is required.

 

People do not believe in the name of God; it is, therefore that they suffer from various diseases.

 

He further says that he has written his work on medicine for those who have no belief in the Name of God.

 

He says:

 

अच्युतानन्त गोविन्द नामोच्चारणभेषजात् ।

नश्यन्ति सकला रोगाः सत्यं सत्यं वदाम्यहम् ॥

 

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :
