People perform actions for the sake of happiness; but they neither attain happiness nor succeed in ending their sorrow thereby

Nama Article 21st September 2011

Srimad Bhagavatam (2:7:15):

सुखाय कर्माणि करोति लोको न तैः सुखं वान्यद्-उपारमं वा

विन्देत भूयस् तत एव दुःखं यद् अत्र युक्तं भगवान् वदेन् नः

Sri Vidura asks Sri Suka in Srimad Bhagavatham that "People perform actions for the sake of happiness; but they neither attain happiness nor succeed in ending their sorrow thereby. On the other hand, they undergo suffering again and again as a result of those acts. Therefore, O worshipful sage, be pleased to tell me what is advisable under the circumstances"

As long as you search for peace outside yourself, you will not attain it. To find the peace within you, please chant the Mahamantra always, thinking of Lord Krishna and surrendering to Him.

The secret that will help you realize happiness

Everyone desires peace. But it does not come by easily. Neither the rich nor the poor enjoys peace

The true purpose of our existence is to realize God in ourselves. No other purpose is equal to or more significant than this.

To think 'What is the purpose of my Creation' is the very purpose of Lord's Creation

The true purpose of existence can be understood only if one attains a Guru

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
