I give people what they want in the hope that they will begin to want what I want to give them

Nama Article 23rd June 2014

Srimad Bhagavatham 5:19:27

True, the Lord grants one's prayers when implored by them; but certainly He does not confer the best and real boon as is evident from the fact that their supplication is renewed after their prayer is granted. To them who adore Him by Chanting the Divine Names, seeking nothing of Him, He reveals on His own accord His own lotus-feet, which satiate one's longings for all time.

"I give people what they want in the hope that they will begin to want what I want to give them!"

(Shirdi Mahatma)

Oh, ye, sing! Oh, ye, sing! The HYMN which in a moment fulfills worldly and heavenly aspirations!

अकामः सर्वकामो वा मोक्षकाम उदारधीः ।

It will bestow all kinds of welfare, material and spiritual........

When we chant 'Krishna Krishna! Krishna Krishna! Krishna Krishna!'.....

You have wished for 'Dharma', 'Artha' (wealth), 'Kama' (ambitions) and 'Moksha' (God). All these four can be attained by performing service to Lord Sri Hari.

I am not able to find any way other than the repeated chanting of the Divine Names to gain the purushartas of dharma, artha, kama and moksha in this age of Kali

he should wait upon the Lord Himself with an intense practise of Devotion carried on uninterruptedly for the sake of final beatitude.

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
