There is a verse which says: "The Name of Hari has such power to remove sins that even the most sinful man cannot do enough sins!"

 

नामनेऽस्य यावती शक्ति : पापनिर्हरणे हरे:।

तावत्कर्तुं न शकनेति पातकं पातकी जन:॥

(बृहद्विष्णुपुराण)

 

Namnosti yavati saktih

papanirharane hareh

Tavat-kartum na saknoti

patakam pataki janah

The dried grass set on fire unites with the fire; Likewise, one who chants Hari's name gets united into Him.

 

You are never so poor that you cannot do anything for others

 

If one cannot do even this (simple thing) one has no way out at all!

 

What is there in this world that devotion to the Lord cannot do?

 

Name is constantly pure, and the impurest, on taking the Name, becomes completely pure.

 

Such people need not hesitate or feel shy on this ground; they CAN sing the Divine Name of the Lord boldly and cheerfully

 

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :
