The main things for attaining mental balance are

 

  1. To think always that one has to die
  2. To be satisfied with whatever gain that comes of itself
  3. To have an unshakable faith that everything that is to happen in this world is fore-ordained
  4. To avoid company
  5. To sing the Lord's praises loudly alone and at a lonely spot when the mind is very much disturbed
  6. To be convinced in body, mind and soul that there is one, who is above all, sees all and directs all, and to put trust in Him.
