Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
"Don't we know what pleases one whom we are well acquainted with? Likewise, Mahans who are fully acquainted with God have declared that nothing pleases Him as does the Mahamantra kirtan.
Even though a mother always possesses affection for her child does she not feel proud of him for some worthy act of his? In the same way, even though God always has compassion for us, it transforms into pride and ultimately Grace if we keep performing the Mahamantra kirtan. When compassion thus transforms into Grace it becomes verily Jnaana."
