Saintly persons (sadhus) hear, sing, and recite a literature, even though it is imperfectly composed (abaddhavat) provided each line (pratislokam) of such a writing describes the glory of the names of God.

 

Srimad Bhagavatham (1.5.11)

 

तद्-वाग्-विसर्गो जनताघ-विप्लवो यस्मिन् प्रति-श्लोकम् अबद्धवत्य् अपि ।

नामान्य् अनन्तस्य यशो'ङ्कितानि यत् शृण्वन्ति गायन्ति गृणन्ति साधवः ॥
