The best way to keep the mind free from its evil tendencies is to repeat Ram Nam. Ram Nam destroys the evil Vasanas and makes the mind pure.
With the chanting of the Divine Name, the practice of controlling the mind must also go on. The strength to disobey the evil promptings of the mind is derived from Ram Nam.
Through the aid of Ram Nam you can get mastery over the mind.
