In the 14th chapter of the seventh Skandha, Narada says - "As the Lord is the root of all, serving and pleasing all the beings is worship of the Lord.''

Social service is akin to the former whereas spiritual transformation (by way of Chanting the Nama) is like treating at the root.

 

The root of satyagraha is in prayer……… Satyagraha teaches us the art of living as well as dying

 

Real tolerance, real national integration and compassion can come about only through such Mahans who have attained Oneness with God.

 

The one who chants the Divine Names of the Lord is above all religions and castes

 

Serve the elders, poor and needy and people in misery. That is verily Guru Seva.
