हरि उच्चारणीं अनंत पापराशी । जातील लयासि क्षणमात्रं ॥

तृण अग्निमेळें समरस झालें । तैसें नामें केलें जपतां हरि ॥

 

By chanting Hari Nama, countless sins that we have accumulated, are destroyed in just a moment. Just as how fire engulfs the blade of grass that comes in contact with it, those who chant Nama are engulfed by Sri Hari unto Himself.
