Despite getting an opportunity to study in our younger days, if we waste it without studying, we will regret it later. 

If we spend all our wealth extravagantly, we will become bankrupt. Only after that will we realize the importance of money. 

If we do not take good care of our healthy body, we will end up with diseases. Only then will we realize the significance of a healthy body. 

In the same way, even after being blessed with a human birth, if we waste it without pursuing a spiritual path, we will feel remorseful seeing our state in the afterlife.
