ஒரு யஜமானர் வேலையாள் தனக்கு துரோகம் செய்ததால் விலக்கிவிட்டார். பிறகு அந்த வேலைக்காரன் கஷ்டபடுவதைக் கண்டு தம்மிடமே வேலை கொடுத்தார். அதுபோல் பகவன்நாமாவிற்க்கு அபசாரம் செய்கிறவன் கதியற்றவனாகிறான். அந்த நாமாபசார பாபத்தையும் பகவன்நாமாவே போக்குகின்றது. எனவே எவ்வகையிலும் பகவன்நாமமே கதி.

 

The master sacked his servant for fraudulent behaviour. But later moved by the servant's plight he agaon offered him the job. Likewise one who errs in the Name of the Divine Name has no refuge. But the sin committed towards the Divine Name is again wiped off by Chanting the Divine Name. So Chanting the Name is the only refuge.

Let us say that knowingly or unknowingly you have committed the ten sinful errors. Those who do Nama kirtan perform them in auspicious time also. Performance of Nama kirtan during these auspicious days will destroy these ten sinful errors.

 

In Srimad Bhagavatam, Prahlada says that it is impossible for one to perform sins to the extent that cannot be destroyed by singing the God's Name.

 

Keerthanam is not dependent on other sadhanas
