Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is an avatar of Krishna Himself

Medicine possessing the highest potency is sure to produce its salutary effect even on one who is unaware of its efficacy

The more you chant a Mantra, the quicker you realize its potency. From that perspective, one gets the unlimited privilege of chanting the Maha Mantra any where and anytime. So this Mantra is alone enough.

A SURE AID

There is no doubt that Rama Nama is the surest aid. If recited from the heart, it charms away every evil thought; and evil thought gone, no corresponding action is possible.

The outward helps are all useless if the mind is weak. They are superfluous if the mind is pure. This must not be taken to mean that a pure-minded man can take all the liberties and still keep safe. Such a man simply will not take any liberties with himself. His whole life will be an infallible testimony to the inward purity. The Gita truly says that mind makes the man and unmakes him. Milton paraphrases the same thought when he says: "The mind in its own place, and in itself can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven."

Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji says, "Naamasankirtan is a very great path because it brings in the highest benefit effortlessly. Generally, people desire the comforts and pleasures of a king but do not wish to shoulder any responsibility that is part of the throne. Is it not sheer logic that as man's strength goes down the means to attain the Lord should become harder? But wonder of wonders! What deep, inexplicable compassion our Maharishis have for us! As our strength and maturity keeps going down they make the path leading to the Lord easier and easier! Do you know which is the easiest of all the easy ways? In this Yuga it would suffice to just utter the Divine Names of the Lord – Rama! Krishna! Siva!"

Would a wise man fail to choose this path that bestows the highest benefit with the least effort?

In this "Kali Dharma Undiyar", Sri Sri Swamiji establishes,

"IN THIS KALI YUGA THE DIVINE NAME OF THE LORD IS VERILY THE RIGHT, EASIEST AND SURE WAY FOR ALL."

What do you mean by Nama Dwaar?

Preamble of Namadwaar, Nama Dwaar - Purpose and Plan

When a man does not harbour any bad (or unauspicious) thought about any creature, to that man of uniform outlook (view) towards all, happiness is there all around.

Motto of Namadwaar: propagation of Nama Sankirtan of the Maha Mantra as the universal means of bringing about peace, prosperity and the feeling of universal brotherhood and providing material and spiritual upliftment to humanity at large.

"Everyone has worries.  I have a worry too!  What is my worry?  Why should the Lord's grace be limited to only a few people?  Can't we bring about a world where there is no disparity in attaining the grace of the Lord? This is my worry! '

Namadwaar [A prayer house powered by the Divine Name] was inaugurated with the blessings of Sri Sri Muralidharaswamiji, the 28th of February 2010 in Houston, USA

As per the Divine Will of our Master, our most beloved Thakurji - Madhuri Sakhi Sameta Sri Premika Varadan, out of their infinite compassion and love, have decided to make themselves physically present around the world! And they have chosen their first 'home' away from Their India home - "KL Namadwaar",

Srimad Bhagavatham adds that one should learn Bhagavatha Dharma (which is nothing but chanting of the Divine Name of God) from such a Guru by which Sri Hari is pleased.

Nama Article 23rd January 2013

Srimad Bhagavatham 11:3:22

Srimad Bhagavatham guides those seeking real happiness to surrender to a Guru who has realised the ultimate reality.

What should one learn from that Guru ?

Srimad Bhagavatham adds that one should learn Bhagavatha Dharma (which is nothing but chanting of the Divine Name of God) from such a Guru by which Sri Hari is pleased.

Please check these: Excerpts from a discourse by our Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

The Sanathana Dharma is universally true. While the Dharma cannot be changed, the alternative is to adapt the right kind of Dharma, apt for the age. That is verily the Bhagavata Dharma, which is nothing but chanting of the Divine Name of God

What is Bhagavata dharma? Showing the way to the Almighty even to the lowliest of the lowly is Bhagavata dharma.

Bhagavata Dharma is a reformation measure indeed!

Would it not amount to grave injustice if one shows a difficult path to the world ?

Therefore, who is a Sadguru? The one who calls all the people in this Kali Yuga and gives the 'upadesa', "Utter the Name of the Lord. You can attain God!" Only such a one is a Sadguru.

We come across many Gurus. Each one of them prescribes a path. Which one should be followed? What is to be done?

All those who are associated with this Sath Sangam should lead the life of Dharma; should do Naama Japam and Naama Sankirtanam every day; should be ever helpful to one and all; should be disciplined and in control always.

I have a very bad temper and lose my composure very quickly. I also have an obsessed mind and get lewd thoughts. Please help me.

Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:

1.         Reduce your intake of spices in your food considerably. Avoid too hot, spicy, salty and tangy foods.

2.         Try to practice simple Pranayama (breathe control)

3.         Read a lot of books that talk about the history of various saints and Mahans

If the disciple is truly attached to the Uttama Guru, this internal transformation will happen slowly but surely.

Nama Article 19th January 2013

By the immense Grace of our Guru Maharaj Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

Jan 1st - Mass prayer in Vellore were attended by 6000+ devotees at the venue and the live webcast was viewed by 20000+ devotees in 44 Countries.

For over a long period of time many Gurus and Sages have come and gone. There have been innumerable disciples for these Gurus. These disciples were, no doubt, devoted their Gurus, but when they move into the world, become hard-hearted, corrupt and materialistic. Why cant the Gurus not change at least 10% of their disciples?

Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

The 'Uttama' Guru will never try to perform any gimmicks or mesmerism to try to bring about a change in the disciple. That is the work of a magician and not of a Uttama Guru! The Adi Guru, Lord Dakshinamurthi Himself had only four disciples worth mentioning.

Goodness in any person is an attribute and is oriented towards action. This itself will not result in 'Mukti' (Liberation). In his great work "Viveka Chudamani", Adisankara Bhagavatpada has said that Mukti does not result from Dhaana (charity), Sankhya Yoga or through millions of Pranayama. It results solely from Jnana and this is possible only through the grace of the Guru.

Guru's grace is not an act in isolation but a natural result when he is extremely pleased and happy with the disciple. If that happens, the disciple is transformed spontaneously. For the disciple of a Uttama Guru, to be good, all his vasanas should be destroyed. This is a silent internal transformation and is done gradually within and not through force. This may not even be noticed by the disciple himself. If the disciple is truly attached to the Uttama Guru, this internal transformation will happen slowly but surely.

Please check these: Excerpts from a discourse by our Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

You may be the worst sinner, highly undisciplined; you may have committed all kinds of atrocities; yet, if a mahatma declares, "Oh, he is my child", that will suffice for you

Guru's boundless grace is immeasurable, limitless and infinite.

If we surrender ourselves absolutely without any reservation to the Guru, He will save us from all sorrow and show us the way to salvation

When a disciple leads his life with the clear understanding that it is the Guru who is running his life - adverse or otherwise, completely emptying the mind of personal likes and dislikes, seeing everything as Guru's leela, attains realization

The best offering that a disciple can give to the Guru is realizing that nothing else can equal his grace.

When can one earn Guru krupa? When God decides to bless a person, he receives Guru's grace. One has to be blessed with Bhakti; and that is blessed only by God/Guru.

To collect people living around one's home and help them chant the Lord's Name is verily service to the Guru. Or to follow the special instruction given to him/her by the Guru is verily 'service' to the Guru.

Does not Lord Shiva Himself always repeat the Name "Rama" and chant the Divine Name into the ears of those dying at Kashi, thereby granting them liberation?

Atonce Lord Shiva said "it is enough if one chants the name "Rama."

You can chant the 'Rama' mantra to any deity. In fact, Lord Siva Himself chants the 'Rama' mantra all the time.

Lord Siva himself does not cease to chant the Divine Name Rama even for a moment out of such taste and love for that Name

Greatness of Chanting the Divine Name of Lord Shiva

Rama is indeed the highest teaching

Our ancient Sages and Rishis have glorified the Rama Nama

Rama Nama can grant all wishes at all times. Rama Nama can relieve you from any difficulty. The supreme Rama Nama could bestow all auspicious things. Let this Rama Nama be hailed everywhere.

No one can comprehend the glories of the Divine Name of Rama. All should Chant the Divine Name of Rama.

The sole aim of all knowledge is to take recourse to the chanting of the Names of Lord Krishna.

Nama Article 17th January 2013

Vaishnava Samhita: Jeevadeva Charitam. Vol II Book 4 Chp 21 Shlokas 17 - 18

विद्यायाः परमं लक्ष्यं कृष्णनामानुकीर्तनम्

तत्यक्त्वा शास्त्रवादेन यशसा वापि किं फलम्

अनित्यस्य शरीरस्य यशोलाभेन किं फलम्

Tatyaktvaa Shaastravaadena Yashasaa Vaapi Kim Phalam

Anityasya Shareerasya Yasholaabhena Kim Phalam

Anaamaroopo Jeevastu Na Nindaa Tasya Na Stutih

The sole aim of all knowledge is to take recourse to the chanting of the Names of Lord Krishna. Ignoring that, if one enters into disputes on Shastras and tries to gather fame, what does he gain? This mortal frame does not derive any benefit from gathering fame. The self has no name or form. Then how can praise or blame affect him?
