Just as how fire engulfs the blade of grass that comes in contact with it, those who chant Nama are engulfed by Sri Hari unto Himself

SANT DNYANESHWAR MAHARAJ

हरि उच्चारणीं अनंत पापराशी । जातील लयासि क्षणमात्रं ॥

तृण अग्निमेळें समरस झालें । तैसें नामें केलें जपतां हरि ॥

By chanting Hari Nama, countless sins that we have accumulated, are destroyed in just a moment. Just as how fire engulfs the blade of grass that comes in contact with it, those who chant Nama are engulfed by Sri Hari unto Himself.

We leave to destiny that which is in our control, and can be achieved by our effort

HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

We worry over things which are in the hands of destiny, presuming that they are in our control; while we leave to destiny that which is in our control, and can be achieved by our effort. This is the root cause of all problems.

Please check these: Excerpts from a discourse by our Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

Everything in one's life happens because of Prarabdha Karma. Keep Chanting the Divine Names of the Lord, which should be our sole goal.

Even after being blessed with a human birth, if we waste it without pursuing a spiritual path, we will feel remorseful seeing our state in the afterlife

Despite getting an opportunity to study in our younger days, if we waste it without studying, we will regret it later.

If we spend all our wealth extravagantly, we will become bankrupt. Only after that will we realize the importance of money.

If we do not take good care of our healthy body, we will end up with diseases. Only then will we realize the significance of a healthy body.

In the same way, even after being blessed with a human birth, if we waste it without pursuing a spiritual path, we will feel remorseful seeing our state in the afterlife.

It also means the bliss derived from chanting the name of Ishwara

Krish hena shabda ito prithivi bāchaka bhaila

Na ānandata pravartaya

Duiro eka pada bhaile parama Brahma rupa Krishna

Nāma ānandaka mātra kaya (140)

Its meaning is : The word ‘Krish’ implies the earth and the word ‘Na’ implies bliss. When both these words are joined together, it comes to imply ‘Krishna’, the embodiment of the universal self Brahma. It also means the bliss derived from chanting the name of Ishwara.
