நாமகீர்த்தனம் செய்யும்பொழுது, நாம் நம்பிக்கையுடன் சொல்கின்றோமா அல்லது 

நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் சொல்கின்றோமா என்பது தெரியாது. ஆனால், நாமகீர்த்தனம் செய்பவர்களை, பகவான் பக்தன் என்று நம்புகிறான். அதனால்தான், அஜாமிளன் போன்றவர்களையும் கரையேற்றுகின்றான்.

 

We do not know whether we have belief while Chanting the Divine Names of the Lord. But the Lord believes that the one who Chants the Divine Names is a devotee. That is why, those like Ajamilan are able to attain salvation.

MASTER: "How long should a man perform his duties? As long as he has not attained God. Duties drop away after the realization of God. Then one goes beyond good and evil. The flower drops off as soon as the fruit appears. The flower serves the purpose of begetting the fruit.

 

"How long should a devotee perform daily devotions such as the sandhya? As long as his hair does not stand on end and his eyes do not shed tears at the name of God. These things indicate that the devotee has realized God. From these one knows that he has attained pure love of God. Realizing God one goes beyond virtue and vice."

Do not give in to your inclination to think  about ghosts and apparitions; rather keep your mind solely on God's Name and meditate on Him. In the presence of His Name no other power can function. This is the truth, be firmly convinced of it.

 

The moment you have recourse to God's name  you should feel that no lesser power can touch you. If at that time you are aware of any physical anxiety, be quite certain that it is merely a bodily reaction.

He was walking in the jungle, he heard a distant roar of a wild animal. He immediately cried out 'Krishna! Oh Krishna! My brother where are you?' Since he called out, our Lord Krishna's Name with so much faith and devotion, Lord Sri Krishna appeared before him in all His beauty.

 

Gandhiji must have been repeating his mantram, Rama, Rama, Rama. Even the cobra lost all trace of fear.

 

Just as the dawn dispels the darkness and rids one of fear from thieves and ghosts, the chanting of the Divine Names also rids one of all sins and bestows liberation as soon as it is chanted.  But that is not the intention of chanting the Divine names.

You desire more and more fame and honor,

Yet happiness does not dwell in your heart,

For free can you chant (God's) Name, and yet you do not,

Everyone in the world desires to study higher and higher, attain high fame and status and earn a lot.  This is in accordance with the nature and understandable to the senses.

 

People perform actions for the sake of happiness; but they neither attain happiness nor succeed in ending their sorrow thereby

 

Lord Rama says, "Any accumulated wealth will dissolve in due time. Any position of power attained will come to an end. All the relations (children, wife) come to an end in death. There is nothing in this world that is permanent."

 

What is real happiness? True happiness lies within you. By merely removing ignorance this can be realized. The easiest way towards this goal is by chanting the Mahamantra.

 

Happiness comes when the mind catches hold of the Divine Name without a break

 

Only God and uttering His Name is the true source of happiness. With out God all others are the accumulation of sorrows

 

As long as you search for peace outside yourself, you will not attain it. To find the peace within you, please chant the Mahamantra always, thinking of Lord Krishna and surrendering to Him.

 

The secret that will help you realize happiness

 

Everyone desires peace. But it does not come by easily. Neither the rich nor the poor enjoys peace

 

The true purpose of our existence is to realize God in ourselves. No other purpose is equal to or more significant than this.

 

To think 'What is the purpose of my Creation' is the very purpose of Lord's Creation

 

The true purpose of existence can be understood only if one attains a Guru

There are various 7 crores of so called mahamantras which would only lead your mind to illusion. Only the supreme two letter Divine Name Rama Nama would grant liberation.
