Everything in our life is predetermined. All we have to do is to turn and fix our mind on Him!

You should not only accept from the bottom of your heart the situation that the Lord keeps you in but also be grateful to Him for that because it is verily the Lord's blessing!

 

When there is true love, even adversities appear to be blessings

 

It is not ours to question why, but to submit to the Divine will, and pass through all experiences that fall to our lot, with a free and cheerful heart.

 

We can resign ourselves to the Will of God and keep away our egosense, only by a continuous remembrance of God

 

It is a mistake to think that by mere change of situation or activity we can attain to peace

 

If one does not chant the divine Name of the Lord, the Lord will not interfere with his life. If he does chant the Name of God continuously, the Lord makes his life favorable to him.

 

Likewise, God takes hold of his devotee and removes all the hurdles in his/her way.

Those are the blessed ones who hear the unblemished story of Lord Hari even for a few moments, who Chant His Divine Names and who worships the Holy feet of the Master (Guru).

 

Many claim to be blessed for various reasons. Just hear this truth, except those who hear the stories of Lord Hari there is no difference between humans and those species who do not have the sixth sense.

 

If you stand and measure yourself you are just eight measurements by your hand, that too only till the God of death comes, then He will just encircle of your body with his rope of death. Those who understand this truly are the real blessed ones.

 

Constant remembrance of Lord Kannan (Krishna) is what we should do. Indeed, if one keeps on remembering the Lord by Chanting his Names all virtues accrue and do we need anything else to get His Grace ?

 

It is just a waste of time to get angry and keep thinking about money and other trivial things. The fruit of Grace of Guru, who is full of clarity and is ever in union with the Lord, is this. In Srimad Bhagavatam we find that it took only one 'muhurtam' (nearly one hour) for Katvangar attained Liberation. There is nothing false in this and this is the Only truth. Those who really understand this and Chants the Divine Name of the Lord are the ones who survives and Those are the ones who are really blessed.

எந்த நாமத்திற்கும் ரூபம் உண்டு. எந்த ரூபத்திற்கும் நாமம் உண்டு. நாமமும் ரூபமும் எப்பொழுதும் ஒன்றை ஒன்று பிரிவதில்லை. ஏதாவது ஒன்றைப் பற்றினாலேயே மற்றொன்று கிடைத்துவிடும். பகவானின் நாமத்தை கீர்த்தனம் செய்தாலும் ரூபத்தியானம் தானாகவே வரும். ரூபத்தை தியானம் செய்தாலும் நாமகீர்த்தனம்  தானாகவே வரும்.

 

Any name has a form and any form has a name. The name and the form are never separated. If you hold on to one, the other too is attained. If you Chant God's Name, meditation of His form is automatically achieved. And if you meditate on His form, Chanting His Names automatically happens.

Feeling that these Forms alone will not suffice for redemption of the world He also became the Divine Names such as 'Hari!' 'Siva!' and is ever alive in these Names.

 

So the Lord's form is attained only by the deserving but his Name is attained even by the undeserving.

 

It is verily the Name of the Supreme One - the one who creates, sustains and rests it in Himself

 

Name and the Named are but one

 

God, Guru, Srimad Bhagavatam and God's Divine Name --- all are one and the same.

 

The Divine Name of the Lord ('Bhagavan Năma') has the power to redeem one and all.

 

God's Name is superior than God's form

 

Thus we are able to comprehend to a certain extent that there is no difference between the Name of the Lord and the Lord. Don't we?

 

Each Name has a form. Each Form has a name

 

Manusmriti stressing that the Word is the origin of all Forms

 

Hence mantras are not only mere combination of words or descriptions of God but they are God themselves.

 

All these forms of worship are rendered futile unless accompanied by the 'sound' aspect in the form of Mantras. If we were to worship the Supreme Brahman in the form of sound chanting the Divine Names of Lord alone is enough.

 

So that the utterance of a group of letters, which is the mantra, produces, by the process of permutation and combination of these letters, a new form of energy which gets infused into our system

 

The omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient Lord understands his worship and out of sheer mercy makes the 'jeeva' realize Him through the idol.

Namakirtan is Mediation

 

What is real meditation?

 

If you develop love it is meditation. If you chant you shall develop love. So chanting is nothing but meditation.

 

Meditation is an attitude of mind. If we cultivate the right attitude, then the mind will not wander, but will only remember God within. For remembrance, mental repetition of the Name is essential.

 

'Similarly, my friend,' the master says, 'you can sit like that forever, but you'll never be meditating or understanding truth.'

 

Chanting continuously in the mind, without a gap of even a microsecond – that is meditation

 

'Rama! Rama! Rama!' - saying this within the mind constantly is also dhyana

 

Repetition of the Lord's name is really a meditation on Him

 

How Meditation is made simpler and enjoyable?

 

By repeatedly reading about Mahatmas one gets motivated to do Japa, Meditation

 

Thus shielded by the Omnipotent Name, he remains safe and his meditation proceeds unhampered

 

When japa is the predominating tendency, vocal japa becomes eventually mental. Meditation is your true nature now. You call it meditation, because there are other thoughts distracting you

 

Chanting (japa) will lead to dhyana (meditation) and it is the means for realising the Self.

 

The utterance and then remembrance and later meditation are the successive stages finally ending in involuntary and eternal japa

प्रोक्तेन भक्ति-योगेन भजतो मासकृन् मुनेः

कामा हृदय्या नश्यन्ति सर्वे मयि हृदि स्थिते

 

All the cravings embedded, as a result of Karma, in the heart of the devotee who worships me by Chanting the Divine Names with devotion, as taught by me, disappear because I am present in their heart.

But wherever My devotees sing with most earnest heart; I present Myself there.

 

I am under the control of my devotees and I am not free. My devotees of saintly character have captured my heart. They are very dear to me.

 

God is enslaved not by external extravaganza but only by true inner devotion and worship

 

As a man thinketh so he becometh. As you think constantly of God you become God. If you think of the world, your mind will be restless.

 

The more you think about the world, the more your heart is filled with dirt and filth. The more you bring Sri Krishna into your heart, the more it is filled with bliss and peace. Chant the Mahamantra with faith and devotion.
