The primeval path of righteousness (the sanatana dharma) has been lost. The people have been afflicted with all the evil propensities of Kali. Hence the only way of redemption is to chant the Divine Names and glories of Lord Krishna

The highest goal of life is to nurture loving devotion to Lord Krishna, the beloved son on Nanda. This goal is superior to all the other accomplishments in life namely, practice of rightousness, enjoyment of worldly pleasures, gathering wealth and even liberation.
