Sri Suka speaks of the reason for the birth of the Name Narayana. The Cosmic person who came out breaking open the universal shell created the pure water known as Garbhodakam with the desire for a place for Himself to stay. He stayed in this water for a full thousand years. Water is called 'Nara' meaning 'that which is born of Nara or the Lord. As the Lord lay on 'Nara' He earned the Name Narayana. Material cause, Karma, Time, Nature and Jiva have the power to act only due to the Will of this Lord. When the Lord Wills otherwise they become powerless.

One should meditate upon Lord Narayana by Chanting His Divine Names during baths and other acts; for it is a purificatory penance for all bad actions

In spite of having the Divine Name 'Narayana', which can free people from all sins, and the mouth to Chant the Divine Name, people still fall in the hell by not chanting it! What a wonder!!!

He who meditates on the immutable Lord Narayana, even for moment, attains salvation. How easy should be, then, for those who are wholly devoted to Him.

I have discovered a word which gives good for ever. It is the divine name Narayana.

Essence of the Vedas and all the holy scriptures is "Repeat the name of Narayana." Without the remembrance of Hari, all other practices, such as rituals and austerities, are only futile exertions.

Remember the Lord always and be ever conscious of the fact that every moment is governed by the will and wish of Sri Krishna

He is so generous that He gives away His own self to those who contemplate on His lotus-feet. Also bestows wealth and objects of worldly enjoyment, which are after all not very desirable things

"To remain how God wills" – being in this state is Bhagavatha Dharmam.

You should not only accept from the bottom of your heart the situation that the Lord keeps you in but also be grateful to Him for that because it is verily the Lord's blessing!

Yogirămsuratkumăr used to say, 'If there is faith then there is no fate.'

If one does not chant the divine Name of the Lord, the Lord will not interfere with his life. If he does chant the Name of God continuously, the Lord makes his life favorable to him.

Likewise, God takes hold of his devotee and removes all the hurdles in his/her way.

Everything in our life is predetermined. All we have to do is to turn and fix our mind on Him!

Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji answers to questions from devotees

Question: Who are Siddhas, Muktas and Bhaktas?

Bhaktas are those who have unflinching love for God with Form. Merely through their love for God they attain to the state of Samadhi and remaining in the state of Jnana which is beyond pairs of opposites like heat-cold, honour-dishonour they spend their time in the thought of God, singing His praises/Names and listening /reading /narrating His stories. Their devotion seeks no fulfillment of desires and removal of sorrows : it seeks not even Liberation. Being in the state of Jnana they remain devoted only due to their love for God. Lord Krishna, in Bhagavad Gita, has given the assurance that He will take care of the needs of such devotees! Those like Namdev, Tukaram are great Bhaktas.

11^th November 2015 - Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji's Jayanthi is celebrated by Global Organisation for Divinity and it has been communicated to various Namadwaars and GOD satsangs across the globe to do Annadhanam (serve free food) / give free dresses to people in Old age homes, orphanages, home for mentally / physically challenged care centers, home for destitute women on the occasion of Sri Swamiji's Jayanthi. Namadwaars and GOD satsangs are also adviced to conduct Akanda Nama kirtan for world peace, harmony and a prosperous life for one and all on this auspicious day.

 

The name Namadwaar means the gateway (dwaar / door) to divinity, which is universal love to one and all, transcending boundaries of geography, age and religion.

 

Mahamantra is being regularly chanted at specified times in the all Namadwaars. Specifically in Madhurapuri Ashram, Chaitanya Kuteeram, Sivakasi Namadwaar, Tuticorin Namadwaar and Virudhunagar Namadwaar, Mahamantra  Kirtan is being chanted for 12 hours everyday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

நாமத்வார் - ப்ரார்த்தனை மையம் என்பது என்ன?

1) நாமத்வார் என்ற ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்தின் முக்கியமான செயல்பாடு என்பது, இங்கு எழுந்தருளியுள்ள மாதுரி சகீ ஸமேத ஸ்ரீப்ரேமிக வரதன் முன்பாக அமர்ந்து எப்பொழுதும் மஹாமந்திரக் கீர்த்தனம் செய்வது மட்டுமே.

2) இங்கு நடக்கும் மற்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மஹாமந்திரக் கீர்த்தனத்திற்கு ஒரு அங்கமே.

3) இந்த ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்தில் எந்த சடங்குகளுக்கும் மற்றும் சம்பிரதாயங்களுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவம் கிடையாது.

4) இந்த ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்திற்குள் மனிதர்களாக பிறந்த எல்லோரும் வரலாம்.

5) ப்ரார்த்தனை செய்வதற்கு எந்த கட்டணமும் கிடையாது.

6) இந்த ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்திற்குள் வந்து மஹாமந்திரம் சொல்லி நம்பிக்கையுடன் செய்யப்படும் நியாயமான ப்ரார்த்தனைகள் நிறைவேறும் என்பது உறுதி.

7) இங்கு வருபவர்கள், தங்களுக்காக மற்றும் பிறருக்காக்கூட ப்ரார்த்தனை செய்யலாம்.

8) நிர்வாக வசதிக்காக ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்தின் விதிமுறைகளை அனுசரித்து நடந்து கொள்வோமாக.

9) எல்லோரையும் மகிழ்வித்து மகிழ வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் இந்த ப்ரார்த்தனை மையத்தின் நோக்கமாகும்.

10) ப்ரார்த்தனை செய்வது மட்டும்தான் நாம்; அதை நிறைவேற்றுவது கண்ணன் என்பதை நாம் மறந்து விடக்கூடாது.

What do you mean by Nama Dwaar?

Preamble of Namadwaar, Nama Dwaar - Purpose and Plan

When a man does not harbour any bad (or unauspicious) thought about any creature, to that man of uniform outlook (view) towards all, happiness is there all around.

Motto of Namadwaar: propagation of Nama Sankirtan of the Maha Mantra as the universal means of bringing about peace, prosperity and the feeling of universal brotherhood and providing material and spiritual upliftment to humanity at large.

"Everyone has worries.  I have a worry too!  What is my worry?  Why should the Lord's grace be limited to only a few people?  Can't we bring about a world where there is no disparity in attaining the grace of the Lord? This is my worry! '

The Australia Namadwaar in Sydney was consecrated and declared open by Sri Bhagyaji on Nov 8, 2015 the divine appearance day of our Guru Maharaj. With Padhuka Pravesham and Nama Sankirtan, the divine sanctum was consecrated by Sri Bhagyaji. This was followed by prayer songs by Gopa Kuteeram children, Krishna Jananam parayanam and Nandotsav and bhajans by the Youth group of Sydney Satsang. The commemorative plaque/cornerstone at the entrance was also opened by Sri Bhagyaji. A music CD by the Youth group was released to commemorate the occasion.

During the formal inauguration program in the evening, a number of dignitaries were present. This included Hon'ble David Elliott, Minister for corrections, emergency services and veterans affairs, Hon Ms Julie Owens Federal MP, Hon Ms Michelle Rowland, Shadow minister for multiculturalism, citizenship and small business, Hon Mark Taylor MP, Hon Daniel Mookhey MLC, Mr Shahadat Chowdhury Councillor Paramatta and Mr Susai Benjamin Councillor Blacktown. Sri Sri Swamiji's benedictory message was also watched by the audience. Satsang representatives from Namadwaars and GOD Satsangs from around the world were present.

It is the wish of our Guru Maharaj to spread this Bhagavatha Dharma, studded with such glories, through out the world.

No one else pleases me the most than the ones who Chant Mahamantra!

If you want something from someone, you have to make him happy. Only then you will receive what you want. Similarly, if you want God's grace,……..

Most of you are running the Divine Name Centres (Namadwaars / GOD Satsangs) in your Towns/Villages/Cities and go about knocking at each door seeking alms - alms of Divine Name chanting! Your efforts shall not go in vain. The Maha Mantra the only way for redemption in Kali Yuga and is going to reverberate in every nook and corner of the world!

I am aware of every effort – small or big that is being put forth towards Mahamantra kirtan and am deeply moved by your love for me and commitment towards Nama

I chant the Mahamantra always. I like to serve my Guru. I do serve Him mentally as I cannot go out any where. Will my service reach Him?

श्रीसद्गुरुरुवाच

एवमुक्तस्तदा धीरो धनी लोभविवर्जितः

सद्यस्तान्येव रत्नानि प्रक्षिप्य यमुनाजले

स्वामिन् प्रसीद मे क्षिप्रमपराधं क्षमस्व मे

जानामि त्वां महात्मानं ज्ञानवैराग्यसम्युतम्

प्रयच्छ मन्त्रं कृष्णस्य लभ्यते येन माधवः

The Divine Name of Shri Krishna is the life giving precious gem for people like me. I shall not give it to you. Shri Bhagavan, the Lord of Shridevi (Lakshmi), can Himself be bought paying that price.

Shri Sadguru continued

Hearing these words the rich man, very magnanimously threw those gems down into the Yamuna. Then he pleaded, "Master! Please bless me soon. Please forgive the offence committed by me. Now I learnt that you are a great man endowed with wisdom and detachment. I beg you to bless me with that mantra which will help me in attaining Shri Krishna. Please accept me as your disciple and let me serve you." He pleaded thus with folded hands and then caught hold of his holy feet.

Haridasa said

Oh! Wise man! Welcome. You are a good disciple. For you have given up the greed for money and have totally surrendered to me.
