Sri Kavi Yogi  says, "Bhagavatha Dharma (which is chanting of the Divine Name of God), which were actually taught by the Lord Himself for one's own realisation with out much exertion and can be followed even by the most ignorent, surely know them as conducive to His pleasure."

देवर्षि-भूताप्त-नृणां पितॄणां न किङ्करो नायम् ऋणी च राजन्

सर्वात्मना यः शरणं शरण्यं गतो मुकुन्दं परिहृत्य कर्तम्

स्व-पाद-मूलं भजतः प्रियस्य त्यक्तान्य-भावस्य हरिः परेशः

विकर्म यच् चोत्पतितं कथञ्चिद् धुनोति सर्वं हृदि सन्निविष्टः

 

Renouncing all obligations, he who whole heartedly and completely resorts for protection to the protecting Lord is no more a servant or debtor to the deities, Rishis, relations and deceased ancestors.

 

If a beloved devotee who has forsaken all other attachments and sought shelter, by Chanting the Divine Names, in the soles of feet of the Lord incurs any sin for any reason, the Supreme Lord, Sri Hari, enshrined in his heart, washes off all that sin.

When we pick fruits from a fruit basket, if we find a rotten one, we put it back and take a good fruit. Likewise, when we have a bad thought, we may think that replacing that with a good thought is a simple solution. But like that rotten fruit remaining in the basket, the bad thought still remains only to pop up some other time.

 

True permanent solution is to remove all rotten fruits in the basket. Likewise only the chanting of Mahamantra can fruitfully flush out all the bad thoughts from our mind.

The Supreme Truth awaits unfoldment in you; remove the barriers, the ego, ignorance and desires. Know, you are the imperishable Reality, the immortal Spirit, the deathless Existence. Sin, sorrow and fear cannot touch you. You are the ever-pure, the ever-shining, the everglorious Truth. You are Eternal Bliss, Love and Peace.
