As per Hinduism, we take birth in this world due to our Karma (Deeds or misdeeds in our previous generation) So many deaths occur due to natural calamities where thousands of human lives are taken away. Man made calamities on account of bomb blasts also take away precious human lives. What is the sin or the Karma these human beings have committed whose lives have been plucked by the Almighty in few seconds of such calamities?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
It is true that we take birth according to the karmas of the past births. Regarding the lives lost, it is not possible to find out the karma of each and every person and account for the same. But one thing can be said for certain. God is perfect. An imperfection cannot come from the perfect.

Swamiji, you have said, "God is perfect. An imperfection cannot come from the perfect." All of us are the creations of the Almighty. Then how come many of us are imperfect in this Kaliyuga as evidenced by the present order of the world in terms of war and violence where most humans are involved in committing grave sins?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Anything that comes from the perfect cannot be imperfect. That which has come from perfection is also going towards perfection. When we see it en route to perfection, it seems to appear imperfect. That's all.

I want to know about my death. What is death? I want to experience my death. I want to be aware of my death.
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
As long as the life-force ('Prana') is inside your body, you are said to be alive. The moment that the Prana leaves your body to take another body is called death.
The death of the body is not the real death. Even in medical science, it has been proved that real death is not the death of the body, but the death of the mind.
From a spirituality perspective, real death is when you realize God, or realize the Self within you. That is because, it is only after then that you are not born anymore. Hence that is the real death.

It is a universal experience that every calamity brings the sensible man down on his knees

A person's bad temper is reflected in his words – he throws tantrums. Likewise, God's anger is reflected as the natural calamities
